Air Canada Sends Boy to Disneyland

Air Canada suffered a public relations nightmare fueled by Twitter when the airline broke a custom wheelchair belonging to a boy who is suffering from Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. Ten year old Tanner Bawn was heart broken when Air Canada broke his wheelchair.

The public heard of the boy's plea and Air Canada'a unwillingness to correct the situation. The public responded with an outcry on Twitter. Air Canada responded to all the public outcry by repairing the boy's $15,000 custom wheelchair.



Air Canada as part of its goodwill gesture will fly Tanner and his family to Disneyland as that's his biggest wish.
