This event is part of the Rediscover Granville Street initiative by the City of Vancouver and designed to promote the arts and dance. The event will take place on July 18th with a 30-minute beginner dance lesson at 1pm. Afterwards it's a swingin' party all the way until 4pm.
This event will be held on July 18th, August 8th and August 22nd for swing dancing. On July 25th, August 15th and 29th there will be salsa dancing. On July 25th there will be beginner dance lessons for 30-minutes at 2pm and the dancing will continue until 6pm.
Dancing in the Street is an event that's even on the ever popular Facebook. You'll want to join this Facebook group and add yourself to the party if you plan on attending. Relax, there's no need to formally add yourself, consider this your open invitation.
